Turkey Fires ‘Naked Gun’ From Theaters: “The Naked Gun,” which lampoons the late Iranian leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, has been withdrawn from theaters in Ankara by its distributor following official Iranian protests. Iran had asked Turkey to halt screening of the movie, which was one of the issues that led to last week’s postponement of an official visit by the Turkish foreign minister to Tehran.
