Los Angeles police have not identified the body of a man found burning in roadside brush in Eagle Rock early Sunday.
Police investigators have ruled the death a homicide, but said they have no clue as to the man’s age or ethnicity, Detective Tom King said. Additional tests will be conducted on his bones and teeth, King said.
Firefighters found the body about 6:15 a.m. Sunday while responding to a trash fire, King said. The body was on a hillside off the side of the road in the 1500 block of West Silverwood Drive, he said.
King would not disclose the cause of the fire. Police said the body had been wrapped up, but did not disclose what type of material was used. Police have no suspects in the case.
