Richard J. Waitneight has been promoted to vice president of Geneva Business Research Corp., Irvine. Before joining the company in 1984 as a merger and acquisition intermediary, Waitneight was vice president, sales for UBI Planning & Design in Los Angeles. Earlier, he was vice president and director of marketing for Dawn Carpet Mills in Irvine.
