Mesa Pride, a volunteer group, is holding its second annual Neighborhood Pride Awards Contest to recognize neighborhoods and homes in the area.
Any resident within Costa Mesa city limits may enter in one of three categories: best single-family residence; best neighborhood block; or best apartment or condominium complex.
Entries will be judged by a Mesa Pride committee on overall appearance, landscaping and general upkeep. Nominations will be accepted through July 20, and winners will be announced in August.
To enter, send a description of the home or neighborhood being nominated, including the address, to Neighborhood Pride Awards, P.O. Box 3949, Costa Mesa, Calif. 92628-3949. For more information, call Ron Amburgey, contest committee chairman, at (714) 548-7001.
There is no fee for entering.
