BISMARCK, N.D. — The times are a-changin’ so much that youngsters have no idea who coined the lyrical phrase.
Bob Dylan is headed to the Dakotas for a series of small-venue concerts and tickets are going fast among older music lovers nostalgic for a dose of his poetical protest tunes.
“This is definitely hitting a demographic group that we haven’t hit before,” said Bismarck Civic Center Manager Paul Johnson. “We’re getting a lot of calls from people 30- to 45-years-old who remember when he was a superstar back when they were younger.
“Not too many teen-agers are buying tickets for Bob Dylan. They’re saying, ‘Bob who?’ ”
He is scheduled to appear Wednesday in Sioux Falls, Thursday in Fargo and Friday in Bismarck.
