Times handicapper Bob Mieszerski lost $48 when his two horses in his $6 triple, Native Westerner and Hitchcock Woods, both ran out of the money in the eighth race after Sassy Slew, one of his picks in the seventh, won at $8. Bob, who started the meeting with hypothetical $1,000 bankroll, is now at $152.
Bob’s bet today is $50 to win on Girl Of France in the eighth race.
