Live Entertainment Inc.: The Los Angeles video, recorded-music and computer software concern reported record first-quarter earnings of $1.82 million, up 52% from $1.56 million a year ago. Revenue was $148.3 million, against $74.6 million a year ago. The company attributed the stronger showing to increased video sales and two acquisitions.
