Here’s Johnny--Again: Johnny Carson has signed on for another year as host of NBC’s “Tonight Show.” The network announced Tuesday that the 64-year-old Carson will begin his 29th year as host of the show Oct. 1, and will continue on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday schedule. “I’m still enjoying this after all these years. As long as I’m having fun, I’ll continue,” Carson said in a statement. Carson’s compensation for the contract was not released. Guest host Jay Leno will continue to fill in during Carson’s 12 annual weeks of vacation.
