HUNTINGTON BEACH : Logo for Bolsa Chica Conservancy Chosen

The newly formed Bolsa Chica Conservancy has chosen its logo through a design contest that drew about 75 entries. The winning entry was submitted by Michele A. Nemier, who will receive $300 as her first-place award.
Nemier’s design shows open human hands beneath a sea bird taking flight. The ocean and sky are in the background. The logo will be used on the conservancy’s publications, stationery and other materials.
