Ruzimatov Joins American Ballet: Former Kirov Ballet star Faruk Ruzimatov has joined the American Ballet Theatre as a principal dancer. Ruzimatov, who appeared with ABT during its most recent Kennedy Center engagement in Washington, will dance during the company’s upcoming eight-week engagement at New York’s Metropolitan Opera House. Ruzimatov danced leading roles in Kirov productions of “Don Quixote” and “Swan Lake.”
