International Channel to Debut: A national 24-hour multi-language basic cable network will be launched this July by Intercontinental Television Group, the parent company for KSCI-TV in Los Angeles. The new network, to be called the International Channel, will feature programming in 13 languages with particular emphasis on programming for the Asian Pacific American population. Among the languages to be featured are Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Tagalog, French, Italian, Hebrew, Armenian, Farsi, Arabic and Hindu.
