Mark Bradshaw won the men’s one-meter springboard title in the U.S. Indoor Diving Championships at Beaverton, Ore.
Bradshaw, who grew up in Springfield, Ore., and lives in Columbus, Ohio, totaled 627.48 points.
Pat Evans, who won the event at the 1989 indoors, finished second at 583.05. Defending world champion Mark Lenzi of Indiana University was third at 583.05.
Kent Ferguson, the 1989 outdoor one-meter and three-meter champion, was fourth in 579.09.
The victory earned Bradshaw a spot on the U.S. team in the 1990 Goodwill Games. Lenzi already had earned the other one-meter berth with his World Cup medal last year.
