Ex-Bangle to Solo: Susanna Hoffs, former lead singer of the Bangles, is heading into the studio to record her first solo album since the breakup of the popular all-female rock band. Hoffs will play guitar and percussion on several songs, and has been preparing through impromptu performances at local clubs. She sang lead vocals on some of the Bangles’ biggest hits, including “Manic Monday” and “Eternal Flame.”
