An Israeli gunboat fired on a dinghy carrying three Palestinian guerrillas off the southern Lebanon coast, sinking it, security sources said. The fate of the guerrillas could not be determined in the incident near the Palestinian refugee camp of Rashidiyeh, south of Tyre. It opened fire and searched the area afterwards, but nothing was found.” Israeli gunboats patrol the coast to prevent Palestinian guerrillas from infiltrating Israel.
