SAN CLEMENTE : Police Arrest Man on Murder Charge

Police made an arrest early Wednesday in the stabbing death of a Los Angeles County man.
Kevin Tyler, 29, of Venice, was arrested at 5 a.m. at his mother’s home in the 100 block of Avenida Palizada by the Police Department’s special assault team, Lt. Paul Falk said.
Los Angeles police informed San Clemente authorities that Tyler might be staying with his mother, Falk said.
Tyler was charged with the murder of Sotero Hernandez Mateo, who was stabbed to death during an apparent robbery Monday in Mar Vista. Tyler’s alleged accomplice, Lisa Renee Bhavnani, 25, of Venice, has also been charged with murder.
