Celebrities seeking privacy and commoners seeking an out-of-town atmosphere would hop on a Pacific Electric Red Car in L.A., ride to Santa Ana, get off near the Old Courthouse (above), be married with no muss or fuss, then hop a car home, all within a couple of hours.
