Cal Lutheran 24, Point Loma 2--Dan Weis hit three home runs and had seven runs batted in and Cal Lutheran (16-9, 8-5) had seven home runs in an NAIA District 3 game at Point Loma.

Dave Leonhardt went five for six with two home runs and six RBIs. Tim Lewis and Darnell Mitchell (four for four with four RBIs) also hit home runs.

East L.A. 6, Mission 2--Bobby Cortez was three for four with one RBI and Mike Trujillo was one for three, including a two-run single, for visiting East L. A. (14-9, 9-3) in a Southern California Athletic Conference game.

The Master’s 7, Westmont 3--Craig Johnson (four for five, four RBIs), Andy Martin and Jeff Cole all had triples in an NAIA District 3 game at Westmont. Bill Scott (3-1) pitched four innings in relief to earn the win.
