TV Movie Set on Sex Video Case: A 23-year-old woman who was awarded a $1.1-million judgment after she was secretly videotaped having sex has reached an agreement with a producer to film a television movie about the case. Attorneys for Susan Leigh Kerr said Tuesday that a NBC Monday Night Movie will be made by Los Angeles producer Joan Barnett. Kerr, a senior at Texas Tech University, won the judgment and attracted national attention last June after she filed suit against her former boyfriend, Dan Boyles Jr., and four other men who secretly taped her having sex with Boyles. The tape later was played for Boyle’s college fraternity members.
