Mobil Selling Italian Unit: Mobil Corp. has agreed to sell its refining and fuels marketing business in Italy as part of its continuing worldwide strategy to concentrate resources on its most competitive businesses. Under the agreement, an affiliate of Kuwait Petroleum Corp. will purchase the shares of Mobil Oil Italiana SpA for about $300 million. Mobil will form a new affiliate to continue its sales of lubricants in Italy.
