WORLD : Boycott U.S., Kadafi Urges

ROME — Libyan leader Col. Moammar Kadafi today urged a Muslim economic boycott against the United States, Britain and West Germany and said no Islamic country should have diplomatic ties with those nations.
Libya has said it suspects the United States, Israel and West Germany are behind last Wednesday’s fire at a Libyan plant that allegedly produced poison gas. The three countries have denied any involvement.
