NBC Sues Sony and Columbia: The National Broadcasting Co. filed a lawsuit Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court against Sony Corp. and Columbia Pictures, claiming that the two companies are sabotaging a home video business owned in part by NBC in order to boost Columbia’s fortunes. The suit claims Columbia used inside information and made deals behind NBC’s back. (Filed March 8, 1990, Case No. C754591)
