A 42-year-old man was arrested Friday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after holding his employer at gunpoint in a Gardena tool and die business, police said.
Imre Fenyvesi of Canoga Park and Tom Nuttman, the owner of Techni-Mold Engineering at 1320 W. 130th St., argued over payment of wages. Fenyvesi became angry and went to his car to get a blue steel automatic pistol, police said.
Employees called police and Sgt. Garry Garrett talked Fenyvesi out of the building. Officials said Fenyvesi agreed to surrender on one condition, saying “I want police to kill me.” He surrendered and no shots were fired, police said.
