SANTA ANA : Zoo Will Celebrate Its 38th Anniversary

The Santa Ana Zoo will be celebrating its 38th anniversary today with festivities beginning at 11 a.m.
The zoo is offering free ice cream for the occasion, and the animals will be serenaded with a chorus of “Happy Birthday” while they eat birthday treats.
Admission is $2 for adults and 75 cents for children and seniors. Children between the ages of 3 and 12 will be admitted free if they are accompanied by an adult and bring in a handmade birthday card.
The Santa Ana Zoo is at 1801 E. Chestnut Ave., one block south of 1st Street. It is open daily from 10 a.m to 5 p.m.
