New Mexico State Rolls Over San Jose for 16-0 Home Mark

LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Keith Hill scored 22 points and Randy Brown had 21, including eight in a row late in the first half, as No. 24 New Mexico State beat San Jose State, 101-70, Saturday night and finished the year 16-0 at home.
The Aggies (23-3, 14-2 in the Big West) have two road games and the conference tournament left.
Brown’s eight points sparked a 14-3 run. He scored on a three-point shot, a three-point play and then stole the ball and scored on a dunk to give the Aggies a 37-27 lead.
San Jose State (7-18, 4-11), which rallied from deficits of 10-0 and 21-13, never recovered. New Mexico State led at halftime, 47-35.
Michael New and Reggie Jordan added 18 points apiece for New Mexico State, which broke the 100-point mark for the second game in a row and for the fourth time this season. Kenne Young led the Spartans with 16.
