Our Town: Actress Kim Basinger hooked up with a Chicago company to help pay the $20-million price tag for the town of Braselton, Ga. Her partner is American Information Technologies. “We’re investing where we think there’s an opportunity for good long-term growth,” company spokesman Steve Ford said Tuesday. The founding family of Braselton agreed last March to sell the actress 1,700 acres of the town.
