NAMES IN THE NEWS : Sen. Simon Becomes Grandpa

CARBONDALE, Ill. — ocratic Sen. Paul Simon became a grandfather for the first time and plans to return home from Washington this weekend to visit his daughter and her baby girl, a spokeswoman said.
Sheila Simon Knop, 28, delivered the 8-pound, 13-ounce baby Tuesday morning at Memorial Hospital, said Pamela Huey, a spokeswoman for Simon.
Knop and her husband, Perry, named the baby Reilly Marie Knop after her maternal grandmother, Margaret Reilly Hurley.
