Israel Seeks to Join Eastern Europe Bank: Israel will apply to join the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the proposed bank to help Eastern Europe, Bank of Israel sources said. The 12 European Community states, 14 other developed nations and eight East European states are involved.
