FULLERTON : 8% Pay Hike OKd for City Administrators

The City Council approved pay raises for top administrators, increasing compensation by an average of 8%.
Pay and benefits for the 13 department heads and other executives were increased retroactively to Oct. 28, when the union-represented employees received pay raises.
City Manager William C. Winter will receive $130,238 a year in pay and benefits; Assistant City Manager Hugh Berry, who also is the director of engineering and community development, $122,385; City Atty. R.K. (Kerry) Fox, $106,125; Police Chief Philip A. Goehring, $112,056; Fire Chief Ron Coleman, $110,044; Finance Director Barbara Henderson, $98,885; and Development Services Director Paul Dudley, $96,691.
The amounts include base pay and retirement premiums, insurance contributions and other reimbursements.
The pay increases will cost the city about $63,000 more for the remaining six months of the fiscal year.
