UCLA Women Lose Game, 68-64, and Two Players
The UCLA women’s basketball team suffered three losses Saturday--one on the court and two more from its roster.
The loss on the court was the fourth in a row for the Bruins (4-5) as they were beaten by No. 22 Old Dominion, 68-64, at Pauley Pavilion.
Rehema Stephens scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Bruins, but Old Dominion rallied with a 20-10 spurt at the end to increase its record to 9-3.
In an earlier development, UCLA also lost the services of sophomore center Molly Tideback and sophomore guard Michelle Miles as each was granted a release to transfer.
Tideback was UCLA’s third-leading scorer (12 per game), and Miles led the team is assists (four per game) coming off the bench.
