Southland BIA Elects Humphreys
Roy Humphreys, president of Shea Homes, Walnut, has been installed as 1990 president of the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California (BIA/SC).
BIA/SC is the regional representative for residential and commercial/industrial builders and developers in six Southland counties. With 2,500 members, it is the largest local association of the National Assn. of Home Builders (NAHB).
Humphreys was chairman of the 1989 Building Industry Show, held in November at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The three-day event was co-sponsored by the Los Angeles Times and the NAHB.
