NEW SEAT: Regardless of the Democratic challenger to GOP Assemblyman Curt Pringle in the 72nd District in 1990 (B1), the 1992 race may be the one to watch. . . . Demographers believe the county will get another Assembly seat after the ’90 census, and whoever controls the Legislature will redraw the lines. Insiders say a more Latino district may emerge, fattened out of the 72nd. . . . “It’s a scenario that’s feasible” and could give the county its first Latino legislator since the ‘70s, says Santa Ana Councilman Miguel A. Pulido, who may be candidate.
