Thanks to Larry Parker for writing to you about the origin of the term “Hail Mary” pass in football, which was started by Roger Staubach.
“You would not designate a pass as a “Sacred Torah” or a “Quickie Muhammad,” so why do you allow the patent insult to the Holy Virgin Mary?
