OCC Advances to Men’s Final in State Soccer
The Orange Coast College men’s soccer team advanced to the state final with a 1-0 victory American River Friday at El Camino College.
Paul Oldman scored for OCC with 17 minutes left in the match off an assist from Andy Strouse. It was the 22nd goal this season for Oldham, a sophomore transfer from Cal State Fullerton.
American River had its best chance to score with four minutes left, but OCC goalie Ken Langeworthy stopped a penalty kick. He had 10 saves in the match.
OCC is 17-4-2. American River ended the season at 20-2-1. The final is scheduled today.
