SAN FRANCISCO — FBI Widens Trade Probe: A massive FBI probe that uncovered alleged trading abuses at Chicago’s two big futures exchanges is widening even further, trade sources said, encompassing livestock futures traders as well as traders in the biggest and most hectic stock index futures pit. The elaborate undercover sting has focused on futures trading in currencies, soybeans and Treasury bonds.
