El Toro Remains No. 1 in Poll
El Toro High School, coming off an impressive 21-14 victory over Mission Viejo Friday, remains the top-ranked team in the Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep football poll.
El Toro (8-0) earned five of the six first-place votes and second-ranked Capistrano Valley (8-0) got the other.
Mission Viejo, the top-ranked team for four weeks, fell to sixth after its second consecutive loss.
