Rexhall Reports Doubling of 3rd-Quarter Revenue
Rexhall Industries, a Saugus maker of motor homes, said its third-quarter profit and revenue more than doubled from a year earlier.
In the quarter that ended Sept. 30, Rexhall’s net income jumped to $653,000 from $296,000, and its revenue climbed to $9.65 million from $4.63 million. Rexhall attributed the gains to increased demand for its Airex line of motor homes, which typically cost $44,000 to $48,000 each.
For the first nine months of 1989, Rexhall’s profit rose to $1.72 million from $887,000, and nine-month revenue increased to $24.7 million from $12.9 million.
