Readers Touch All Bases on Touchy Issue

I felt terrible after reading Mike Downey’s column the day after the earthquake. I actually felt guilty for even having thought about the fate of the Series.
Then I realized that I was actually craving a return to normalcy, and as quickly as possible.
I think Downey is forgetting one very important consideration--the Bay Area residents themselves. Doesn’t he think that many people will need something uplifting to share in? San Francisco needs this diversion.
