Jim McMahon may be replaced as the San Diego Chargers’ starting quarterback by rookie Billy Joe Tolliver in Sunday’s game at Seattle, Coach Dan Henning said.
McMahon completed 12 of 27 passes for 133 yards in Sunday’s 20-13 loss to the New York Giants.
