HELPING AGAIN: Just as it did after the Mexico City earthquake in 1985, the Orange County Fire Department is lending support to a disaster-recovery effort. . . . The department sent the HRF3, a heavy rescue vehicle designed to handle all kinds of salvage jobs, to the site of the collapsed shopping mall in Santa Cruz. . . . The vehicle, one of only three in the state, has been dispatched with a four-member crew.
