From Associated Press
ORLANDO, Fla. — A bolt of lightning struck a jetliner taxiing at Orlando International Airport, killing a ground-crew member who was helping guide it, officials said. No one aboard the plane was hurt. Witnesses reported seeing the bolt arc from the plane Saturday night.
Skies were partly cloudy but there was no thunderstorm activity reported at the time. There was no apparent physical damage to the plane, a USAir spokeswoman said, but it was taken out of service for an inspection.
