Loyola Women Volleyballers Sweep 3
Loyola Marymount women’s volleyball Coach Mike Normand predicted a three-game weekend sweep in Northern California and his young team accomplished that feat on Saturday.
The Lions improved their West Coast Conference record to 3-0 by defeating St. Mary’s 15-9, 10-15, 15-5, 15-3. Freshman Raquel Glenn led Loyola with a game-high 12 kills.
The Lions, 3-8 overall, defeated San Francisco on Thursday and Santa Clara on Friday. They host St. Mary’s on Oct 5.
