Loyola 36, Antelope Valley 0--Kahlil McAlpin ran for two first-quarter touchdowns as Loyola handed host Antelope Valley its worst defeat since losing to Muir, 37-0, in the 1986 Coastal Conference championship game.
The Cubs (4-0), ranked second in the Southern Section’s Division I, rolled up 369 yards in offense to 168 for Antelope Valley (1-3).
Loyola’s Alex Yeboah ran for a game-high 75 yards in 11 carries, including a nine-yard second quarter touchdown. Sophomore John Stonehouse kicked a 50-yard field goal and Lance Harmon kicked field goals of 19 and 22 yards.
