Santa Barbara County sheriff’s deputies were searching for two men who shot and killed a nude sunbather after first demanding drugs. Phillip Bogdanoff, 49, of Visalia and his wife were visiting a section of beach used for nude sunbathing when they were accosted by two clothed men. One of the men demanded marijuana, said Sgt. Jan Bullard. When Bogdanoff said he didn’t have any, he was shot twice in the head. His wife was not injured. Witnesses described the assailants as in their 20s. Authorities have not identified the suspects. Several fishermen reported seeing the two men earlier in the day. The attack occurred about a half mile south of Refugio State Beach, officials said.
