Mother Teresa is responding to treatment for heart problems, doctors said in Calcutta, where the 79-year-old nun has been hospitalized since Sept. 5. Medical staff at Woodlands Nursing Home said her temperature had returned to normal after a fever resulting from an unspecified infection and that “her general condition is better.” But doctors said that she would need treatment for at least several more weeks.
