LOCAL : Simi Roofing Contractor Arrested on Suspicion of Molesting 2 Girls

A Simi Valley roofing contractor has been arrested on suspicion of felony child molesting in which two young girls were victims, authorities said today.
Richard George Grabowski, 35, was arrested Friday afternoon after a two-week investigation, Simi Valley police said.
Police declined to release details of the investigation or circumstances of the alleged molesting but reported that the victims were two local girls, aged 11 and 12.
The investigation was prompted by a report of the alleged molesting of the girls on Aug. 26, police said. On Friday, detectives conducting a surveillance of Grabowski arrested him at 4:20 p.m. near his home on Walnut Street near Tapo Canyon Road.
Grabowski this morning remained in the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department jail in Ventura in lieu of $250,000 bail.
