One of the Soviet Union’s largest film studios, Lenefilm Studios of Leningrad, will be represented in the United States by Los Angeles-based NEO International Ventures Inc., an agreement that will make the arrangement of film and TV location shoots in the Soviet Union “much easier,” according to NEO President Nick Olaerts. According to Lenefilm president Alexander Golutva, “This agreement opens up unlimited opportunities for both countries to begin cultural exchanges on an entertainment level.” Golutva was part of a delegation of four Russian film makers that spent the past two weeks in Los Angeles negotiating the contract with NEO.
