Fullerton : Store Bandit Brings Along His Own Rope
A man with a gun tied up customers at a Fullerton bookstore and escaped with cash and credit cards, police said Wednesday.
The man entered the Book Cellar in Orangefair Mall and forced a customer to tie up the others in the store, Fullerton Police Officer Tim Beason said.
“The guy brought his own rope,†Beason said, “and he didn’t even do his own work.â€
The bandit then emptied the register and stole wallets from customers, escaping with $241 and some credit cards, Beason said. He disappeared into the mall.
The robber is described as white, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, with blond hair and blue eyes.
