Edison Coaches LaRuffa and Davis Resign

Two girls’ coaches at Edison High School have resigned, girls’ athletic director Bruce Belcher said Monday.
Ron LaRuffa, girls’ tennis coach, and Joey Davis, girls’ basketball coach, quit this week. LaRuffa, who also coaches baseball at Fountain Valley High School, will remain at Edison as a teacher. Davis has accepted a teaching position at Charter Oak High School.
“The district is trying to work out a transfer for Ron (to Fountain Valley), but so far they’ve been unsuccessful, “ Belcher said.
