‘Land Shark’ Buses Serve Beach-Goers
LONG BEACH — The Land Sharks, Long Beach Transit’s popular beach buses, are lurking along Pacific Coast Highway between Long Beach and Seal Beach.
Named for the brightly colored painted shark on the bus exterior, the Land Shark begins service at 6:10 a.m. Monday through Friday, connecting with any of Long Beach Transit’s 37 routes, and departs every 30 minutes.
Beach-goers are allowed to bring a boogie board or surfboard under six feet in length. Bus fare is 40 cents for high school students and 60 cents for adults.
