STATE : Ezell’s INS Resignation Accepted

Harold Ezell, the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service’s often-controversial Western regional commissioner, is being replaced by his chief aide, it was announced today.
The office of the U.S. attorney general notified Ezell that his pro forma resignation, submitted when George Bush became President, has been accepted as of the close of business today. Acting INS Commissioner James Buck named Robert Moschorak, associate commissioner for operations in the Western region, as Ezell’s temporary replacement.
